  · Meet to understand and assess clients’ needs and desires

  · Review architectural plans / including alterations advice

  · Determine scope of work  

  · Design any element of a space: windows, doors, cabinetry,
   all trim elements, fireplaces, tile and stone layouts, chimneys,
   stairways, exterior porch and fencing elements.

  · Selections  – INTERIOR: tile, stone, lighting, flooring of all
   types, plumbing fixtures and accessories, door hardware,
   cabinet hardware, and appliances

  · Selections – EXTERIOR: lighting, porch and deck flooring,
   railing materials, fencing materials, hardscape, planters

  · Paint colors and finishes – interior and exterior

  · Acquire furnishings, accessories, art, window coverings

  · Custom furniture design

  · Furniture plan

  · Restaurant seating and lighting plans/furnishings and accessories

DESIGN CENTER AND OTHER WHOLESALE VENDORS, MARKING UP A
